The taste of the Great Geysir!
Icelandic dish served at the geothermal area.
As you arrive by Geysir hot spring, the chef of restaurant Geysir, will be waiting to greet you and walk with you over the geothermal areas were our guests experience to taste freshly baked hot spring bread. It is a local rye bread called Rúgbrauð and it is buried in the geothermal ground for 24 hours. Served with Icelandic butter, boiled eggs (also boiled in the geothermal area) and herring. Best served with a small glass of Geysir Schnapps, served at frezzing point.
